With large differences in temperature and humidity (e.g. between day and night, between indoor and outdoor spaces), condensation forms on the underside of uninsulated metal roofs. High humidity further intensifies this unwanted effect. Serious consequences can include corrosion or damage to building structures, stored goods and furniture, as well as harmful effects on people and animals due to moisture and various types of mould.
The condensation control membrane absorbs condensation and prevents it from dripping. It also dampens noise and the sound of rain. Where humidity is particularly high, the high-tech membrane controls the flow of absorbed condensation and directs it wherever you want.
The Product
Dripstop® is a high-tech membrane made from an innovatively refined material, manufactured using the most advanced production technologies. The high-tech non-woven membrane made of PES fibres absorbs condensation up to 1,000 g/m2 in the form of water droplets. The self-adhesive layer acts as an effective barrier between the wet Dripstop® membrane and the coated metal sheet, providing better protection against corrosion.

Usage
