FRAGMAT WATERPROOFING
Bituminous waterproofing membranes consist of a carrier, which gives the membrane mechanical resistance and dimensional stability, and a bitumen compound, which ensures watertightness and, as a binder, allows it to bond to the substrate.
Carriers:
Glass veil gives the waterproofing membrane good dimensional stability (waterproofing of below-grade structures on less demanding terrain, shallow depths, presence of moisture in the ground).
Glass fabric gives the waterproofing membrane excellent mechanical properties, dimensional stability and high tensile strength (waterproofing in flat roof systems, waterproofing of the most demanding systems, waterproofing of below-grade structures on demanding terrain).
Polyester felt gives the waterproofing membrane high elongation and resistance to static and dynamic loads (waterproofing in flat roof systems, waterproofing of below-grade structures on demanding, unstable terrain).
Aluminium foil gives the waterproofing membrane vapour tightness (vapour barrier in flat roof systems, protection against radon ingress).
