Isola has been manufacturing roofing for the harsh Norwegian climate for more than 65 years. Isola Powertekk roofing, backed by a 30-year warranty, is made from high-quality steel using the most advanced technological process. It is highly resistant to weather conditions and extremely lightweight.
In addition to coated and uncoated steel roofing, Isola also manufactures Isola bitumen shingles with a 25-year warranty, as well as its own Isola roofing membranes.
Isola shingles are made on a fibreglass carrier. Laid on a wooden roof surface, they provide a safe and functional roof for decades! The combination of glass veil and dense, flexible bitumen makes the product strong and, at the same time, very flexible.

Whether rain, snow, or strong wind, thanks to generous overlap between elements, Isola Powertekk always remains watertight. Multi-point fastening to the roof structure ensures a strong and secure roof even in the strongest winds — at roof pitches from 8 to 90 degrees.
Full functionality – low weight
Despite its strength, Isola Powertekk is extremely light on the roof. At just 5 kg/m2 for Isola Powertekk Exclusive and 7 kg/m2 for Isola Powertekk Nordic or Tyri, this roofing is exceptionally lightweight and ideal for renovating old roofs. Since Isola Powertekk tiles can be laid directly over an existing roof, there are no high costs for removing the old roofing, saving time during renovation as well.
Easy installation
Compared to roofing in large formats or panels, working with Isola Powertekk is much easier, as the job can even be done by a single person. Smaller elements allow for very precise work with considerably less waste. Thanks to the excellent characteristics of Isola Powertekk tiles, this roofing is the right choice for exceptional projects.

A brightly glossy roof. Isola Powertekk Exclusive tiles give a roof a special touch. The glossy surface in black, anthracite, or green combines elegance with the look of a classic roof tile. But the matte surface in black, terracotta, anthracite, or brown also gives a roof a distinctive tone. Very high-quality powder coating provides a beautiful roof appearance long-term and protects elements against corrosion.

Isola Bitumen Shingles
Isola shingles are made on a fibreglass carrier. Laid on a wooden roof surface, they provide a safe and functional roof for decades! The combination of glass veil and dense, flexible bitumen makes the product strong and, at the same time, very flexible. Large self-adhesive surfaces with a special strong adhesive ensure a durable, watertight roof. Under pressure and heat, Isola bitumen shingles bond firmly, successfully withstanding storms and rain. A slate granule coating provides protection against UV radiation and mechanical loads.
A clear winner in testing
In a storm and rain test at the Norwegian institute SINTEF, Isola shingles once again proved their outstanding quality. In terms of rain protection, Isola shingles outperformed all similar products on the Norwegian market by a wide margin. In wind-driven rain, at wind speeds up to 42 m/s and pressure changes up to 350 Pa, Isola shingles demonstrated their excellent properties.
Unique adhesive surfaces
Special self-adhesive surfaces across the full width of the shingle sheets, combined with a strong adhesive, allow for instant and permanently secure bonding. Marked nailing points ensure optimal fastening and sealing. These unique self-adhesive surfaces are largely responsible for Isola bitumen shingles proving to be the best in tests of rain and storm resistance.
