Low weight

An aluminium roof weighs approximately 2 kg/m2 — just a tenth of the weight of a roof covered with traditional roof tiles, and less than half the weight of a copper, titanium-zinc, or coated-steel roof. Low weight is certainly an advantage for roofers working on the roof, as well as when installing rainwater drainage systems. When renovating old buildings, there's no need for additional reinforcement of old roof structures, which also means savings in cost and time.

Flexibility & ease of installation

Aluminium is highly flexible and easy to work with. VESTIS H41 hardness is the ideal sheet metal for standing-seam installation. It can also be worked without cracking the material even at low temperatures, even below 0 °C.

Long-lasting resistance

RUST-PROOF: aluminium is protected against rust by a self-protective layer. RESISTANT TO HARSH WEATHER CONDITIONS: with a highly durable polyester coating 35 microns thick on the front side, the material is very well protected against storms, snow, and strong UV rays. VESTIS's warranty also applies at installation altitudes above 900 m. 25 microns of highly durable polyester coating on the back side ensures a longer service life for gutters, while roof and facade are protected against contact with other materials.
