New measuring equipment for even more precise quality control

At Marex, we have upgraded our equipment with a new Linshang LS176 spectrophotometer and Linshang LS192 gloss meter. The new measuring equipment further improves our quality control of materials and surfaces.

The new equipment enables even more precise and, above all, objective control of colour shades and surface gloss levels. Measured values can be compared with reference samples, allowing us to identify possible deviations more quickly and reliably.

Linshang LS176 spectrophotometer

The LS176 spectrophotometer enables precise measurement and comparison of colour shades. The device uses a spectral sensor and a full-spectrum LED light source, allowing colour differences between a reference sample and the measured material to be determined objectively.

The instrument uses D/8 measurement geometry and operates across the visible spectrum from 400–700 nm. A measurement takes approximately one second.

Linshang LS192 gloss meter

The LS192 gloss meter enables precise measurement of gloss levels on different surfaces. It uses the universal 60° measurement angle and provides a measurement range from 0 to 1000 GU.

The instrument is suitable for checking the gloss of painted and coated surfaces, metals, coatings and other materials. Measurements are particularly useful when comparing different production batches or material deliveries.
