Roof and facade panels
The advantages of building with roof and facade panels are very good thermal and sound insulation of the building and simple, fast installation on a pre-prepared structure. Roof and facade panels are also often called insulated sandwich panels.
Roof and facade panels consist of sheet metal and an insulation core. The underside of the panels can be made of sheet metal, aluminium foil, cardboard, etc.
We offer roof and facade panels from various manufacturers, which differ according to the type of insulation core, sheet metal thickness and zinc coating on the sheet metal, which can range from 140 g/m² – 275 g/m². The most common insulation cores are PUR/PIR insulation core and stone wool. Roof and facade panel thicknesses range from 10 mm all the way to 240 mm.
Advantages of roof and facade panels according to the insulation core
PUR
PUR has better insulation performance compared to stone wool.
PIR
Compared to stone wool, PIR has better insulation performance and also better fire resistance compared to a PUR insulation core.
Stone wool
Stone wool has better fire resistance compared to a PUR/PIR core.
Sheet thickness
Roof and facade panels are available in sheet metal thicknesses from 0.4 – 0.7 mm.
